Driven by a love for finding solutions to real-life problems, I seek out situations where I can leverage my previous skills and curiosity to create results for real people and assets.
I fell in love with Real Estate as it is the perfect combination of real-world challenges with required academic and technical knowledge.

If you are looking for someone ready to dig in and work with your team to acquire, manage, and develop built assets, continue on.
Real Estate
Humans spend 90% of their time indoors. Buildings create a space for people to connect, live, do business, and relax.
Working for North America's largest Paragliding Company, I got my exposure to real estate while helping the firm relocate into a built-to-suit retail location. This new store created an unprecedented experience for customers, and sparked a curiosity for creating new spaces.

After project completion, I purchased a personal property with the intention of creating an additional rentable apartment. I built a full, 2-bed unit, complete with a kitchen, laundry, and private garage. In addition to generating an extra $2,000/mo in rent, this experience ignited a passion in me to use my skills and unique talents to enable others to do the same.

When a friend reached out and asked if I could help them find their own property and build a similar unit to mine, I knew it was time to get my real estate license. As a REALTOR, my favorite type of project was helping a client to find an off-market home in poor condition, working with them to build a plan for revival. Most plans included modernizing the property & constructing an additional apartment then helping them to execute and reap the benefits. On my most memorable deal, we created a welcoming space for people to live that positively cash flows and "force appreciated" the property by 31% within the first year.

Wanting to formalize my real estate knowledge and experience, I attended & graduated from Georgetown University. This specialty master's in "Global Real Assets" taught me about the big, and little picture, in real estate. With coursework and real-life projects in finance, capital planning, real estate underwriting, and development, I gained the knowledge to help make smart and sustainable real estate decisions.

Currently, I work with nonprofit organizations to optimize their real estate. Many nonprofits have significant property and land holdings, yet do not see a financial return from their assets. Similar to a financial planner managing the endowment fund, we work to generate revenue from existing assets and in turn allow nonprofits to enhance their mission. Doing good by using financial skills and real estate strategies to help real people and organizational missions is satisfying!
